This is your chance to hunt the largest antlered animals in the world. The Chukotka moose is found on the Chukota and Kamchatka peninsulas and are the largest moose in the world. In recent years, this outfitter has had a 100% success rate for moose and has averaged 65”. Last year one of their clients took a 74” massive moose.

Why take a chance on an unsuccessful Alaskan moose hunt when you can be assured of taking a true giant trophy moose while experiencing the Russian trip of a lifetime?

Kamchatka Moose Hunting Methods

This hunt is done on foot by using a snowmobile to travel great distances looking for fresh bull moose tracks. Once a suitable-sized moose track is found, the tracks will be followed until the trophy potential of the moose can be assessed.  Then the moose will be stalked either on foot, snowshoes, or skis until a suitable shot presents itself. Your guide will drive the snowmobile and you will ride in a sled behind him. Warm clothing is essential for this hunt.

WEATHER IN KAMCHATKA

In Nov – Dec the temperature during daylight hours is from -4 to 5 F and during nighttime from -15 to -8F

KAMCHATKA MOOSE HUNTING ACCOMMODATIONS

You will sleep in wooden cabins that are equipped with portable cots, stoves, and generators. Every camp has an interpreter and a cook.

Late Winter Hunt Itinerary

Day 1        Arrival in Moscow, Flight to Petropavlovsk

Day 2        Arrival in Petropavlovsk, transfer by car, then by snowmobile to camp

Day 3-9    7 Hunting Days

Day 10      Transfer to Petropavlovsk, Check into Hotel

Day 11       Fly from Petropavlovsk to Moscow, Overnight

Day 12       Depart from Moscow for Home

BOOKING AND DEPOSIT POLICY

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your hunt date.  Final payment is due 60 days prior to the hunt starting date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the hunt is canceled more than 365 days prior to the hunt starting dates the deposit will be refunded less a 30% administration fee and all expenses already incurred.

If the hunt is canceled between 365-181 days prior to the hunt starting date the deposit will be refunded less 50% of the paid amount but not less than $2,000 per hunting client handling fee.

If the hunt is canceled 180 days or less prior to the hunt starting date, the total cost of the hunt is forfeited, unless the hunt is re-sold.  If the hunt is re-sold, 70% of the paid amount will be refunded.

EXCLUSIONS: Visa, International Flights, Airline tickets from Moscow – Petropavlovsk, Hotels, and Meals before and after the hunt, Excess luggage Fees, Sightseeing, Additional Hunting Days, Non-hunter Fee, Additional Trophies, Taxidermy, Shipping of Trophies, Personal Items, Gratuities to the Professional Hunter and Staff, Formalities Package ($400)
