I hunted there in June of 2013 and August of 2014. I took a great Eastern Cape kudu, a caracal, bontebuck, blue duiker, oribi, and many other nice trophies. This outfitter donates much of his money generated by the hunts to help improve the lives of the native peoples of South Africa. A trip to the orphanage is an unforgettable and moving experience!  I have personally hunted with this outfitter four times and each trip was awesome!

The experience and affordability of hunting in the Eastern Cape should not be missed. When you are done hunting, you may want to visit nearby Addo Elephant Park for a day and look for the resident lions and elephants.  Port Elizabeth is also a great place to rent a car and drive South Africa’s world-famous Garden Route along its coastline to Capetown.  A day or two in Capetown is unforgettable, as it has been called the world’s most beautiful city. Having been there myself, I would concur!

If you prefer not to drive on the wrong side of the road, tours can be arranged. You might just be able to get your PH to take you personally if arranged in advance!

Another day or two should be spent touring the Stellenbosch wine region. Be sure to have lunch at Jordan winery or one of the many fine restaurants in the town of Stellenbosch or Franschoek.
