THE INTRODUCTORY SAFARI AREA
This African plains game hunting safari will take place 3.5 hours north of Johannesburg near the Botswana border in Limpopo Province. Limpopo is a premier plains game hunting area and this property is in prime hunting territory. The lodge sits on a 6,000-acre game-filled hunting concession.
The property is an ideal mix of bushveld, savannah and rolling hills. Some of the property has dense underbrush and acacia trees are found throughout the property. The nearest town is Lephalale.
THE HUNTING SAFARI / METHODS
The hunting methods that will be primarily utilized for rifle hunting are walk and stalk, although the outfitter will accommodate various needs if necessary. Bow hunting is available and will be done primarily from the existing blinds situated on waterholes / feeding areas. Walk and stalk may be attempted by the bowhunters if they want to give it a try. Plains game hunting in the Limpopo bushveld is some of the finest hunting that South Africa offers.
This property has been well-managed, and a hunter can expect to harvest some good quality trophy animals on this safari. The property has abundant populations of kudu, oryx, warthog, buffalo, sable, roan, bushbuck, waterbuck, tsessebe, golden wildebeest and many other species. There will be plenty of targets on this hunt and it will be a memorable hunting experience for sure.

Testimonials
"I had the hunting experience of a lifetime. And I have a real need to go back. I made many new friends from South Africa, Australia and the USA.
I strongly recommend both Discount African Hunts and this outfitter. John Martins set me up with a great outfitter, answered all my questions and made sure I had all my paperwork in order A to Z."

"The hippo and croc hunt was good to great -- People make the hunt and from the booking agent to the outfitter YOU COULDN'T ask for a better hunt! Very few hunting ads tell you what you will get and then deliver it with a smile and extras. Both ends are honest and great to deal with."
"John Martins tries his hardest to get you a great price and your animals with honest outfitters!"

"I looked long and far for a good deal on a lioness hunt. By far, Discount African Hunts had the best price. I had the hunt of a lifetime and took a beautiful lioness at close range with my bow. The Professional Hunter was first class, the lodge was first class and my whole experience was unbelievable. I will book with John Martins when I return to Africa to hunt leopard in Zimbabwe.
