The Buffalo Hunting Concession

This is the ideal discounted Cape buffalo hunt in South Africa for the hunter that wants to experience the thrill of hunting one of Africa’s big 5 animals at an affordable price.  The size of the old bull that you can expect to take on this Cape buffalo hunting safari is up to 38".  This hunt will take place in Kwazulu-Natal on a 10,000 acre concession.  There is a large herd of buffalo that have lived on this concession for many years.  They are not a disease free herd, and therefore have never been darted or examined by veterinarians. There are no cattle on this concession!  This is a real wild buffalo hunt,  as these buffalo were bred and born on this concession, and are not part of a breeding operation.  These buffalo are roaming on a 15 sq. mile area!

Cape Buffalo Hunting Methods

This Cape buffalo hunt in South Africa will utilize the traditional method of looking for fresh tracks crossing the roads or leaving the waterholes and then tracking them on foot. This is not an easy hunt on a small concession.  You will earn your trophy!

If you take your Cape buffalo early, you may hunt other species and only pay trophy fees.  This outfitter also specializes in Bushpig, Caracal and Serval with dogs.  A variety of plains game species are also available.

The Lodge

This is your chance to hunt Cape buffalo in South Africa with an outfitter that is experienced with helping hunters put their trophy in the salt.  You will be staying in a comfortable 3-Star lodge and experiencing the fine dining that South Africa is famous for!  The lodge is situated in the denter of the farm and is surrounded by lush bushveld.  Accomodations are 5 comfortable in-suite bedrooms.  The showers are fed by gas geysers that are very welcome after a day in the bush.  The lapa consists of a central kitchen, lounge and dining area with gas stove, fridge and freezer.  There is a well setup brai area where the stories of the day are told around the campfire or the fireplace inside the lounge provides a comfortable alternative.
