The Outfitter

This is your chance to hunt elephants in Mozambique with one of the most experienced big game outfitters in Africa!  This outfitter is one of the most reputable dangerous game outfitters in Mozambique, has been operating in Mozambique since 2005, and hunts on over one million acres on some of the best free-range dangerous game concessions in Mozambique.

The Elephant Hunting Area

The hunt will take place on an exclusive hunting concession in Central Mozambique, which is one of the last remaining trophy elephant concessions in Africa where a 70# -100 # elephant is a real possibility!

The hunting area consists of 100's of thousands of hectares, has flat terrain, and has no mountains. The area is composed of Zambezi Valley mopane and baobab trees and has patches of thick Jesse brush.

The Elephant Hunt

This hunt for elephants in Mozambique will be primarily a walk-and-stalk hunt. Tracks will be located and then you will follow the elephant on foot while paying close attention to the wind. You should be in fair physical condition and be capable of walking 3-5 miles per day.  This is not a truck hunt!

Mozambique Elephant TrophyTrophy Elephant in Mozambique

Once you have successfully taken your bull elephant you will move to one of the outfitter’s other concessions where you can continue hunting for other species. Trophy fees for other species are listed below:

The best time of year for Elephant Hunting in Mozambique is June through September.

Seventy to one hundred-pound Elephants are possible and do get shot here!

The Elephant Hunting Camp

You will stay in a traditional tented camp during the course of your elephant hunt. These hunts use tented camps because the camps sometimes need to be relocated to be near the peak elephant activity. The camps will feature comfortable beds, daily laundry service, hot showers, and three-course meals. The outfitter’s staff are trained to cater to his client’s needs.  Vehicles are well-maintained. There is internet and cell phone service available in the camp.

Getting There

You will arrive in Beira, where you will be met by your PH and driven to the camp that will serve as the base for your hunt.  NO expensive charter flights are required on this hunt!  Daily flights are available to Beira from Johannesburg, South Africa.

This is one of the best trophy bull elephant concessions in all of Mozambique! They have taken a 100#+ elephant from this concession in the past!

So what are you waiting for?  Isn’t it about time that you put a trophy tusker in your game room?

Testimonials

"In August 2014 I took a lioness hunt with Discount African Hunts in the Northwest Province of South Africa. The PH's worked hard to customize the hunt for me as I wanted a challenging stalk ending with taking the lioness at close range by an open sighted double rifle. They exceeded my expectations as 12 miles of tracking ended with me shooting the highly agitated lioness at a distance of 25 yards with a couple of rounds of 450 NE".

"I highly recommend a lioness hunt with Discount African Hunts."

'It was the most exciting hunt I have ever been on. We stalked a small bachelor group for a few days before I shot a mature cape buffalo with my Browning 375 H&H.'

'This was my third hunt with Discount African Hunts and each one has been fantastic.  I don't think I would book my future African hunts with anyone else.'
