This is your chance to hunt Elephant in Zimbabwe with one most experienced big game outfitters in Africa!  This outfitter is one of the oldest and most reputable dangerous game outfitters in Zimbabwe.  For three generations, the methods of successfully taking Africa’s dangerous game have been passed from father to son here.  The hunt will take place on Matetsi Unit 4, located 1.5 hours south of Victoria Falls. This concession is bordered by Hwange National Park on the South and Botswana on the west.

You will arrive at Victoria Falls, where you will be met by your PH.  Victoria Falls is the perfect place to spend a couple of extra days after your hunt to see the world famous Victoria Falls, which is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.  This spectacular sight should not be missed.  Day trips to Chobe National Park in Botswana are available, where you can view the extensive damage that an overpopulation of elephants can cause.  Elephant rides, walking with lions, curio shopping, zip-lining over the Zambezi River and sunset cruises on the Zambezi while viewing crocodiles and hippos are just some of the many activities that are available.  And don’t miss an elegant unforgettable high-noon tea or elegant evening dinner at the world famous Victoria Falls Hotel.

There is a high population of elephant in the area, due to its open borders with Hwange National Park and Botswana.    The elephants in this area average 30 – 50 lbs, although larger elephants are taken in the area each year.   There are no additional trophy fees if you shoot an elephant larger than 50 lbs on this hunt!

This outfitter’s success rate on elephant in Matetsi has been 70% over the past several years!

The best months to hunt Elephant in Zimbabwe are January – May and September – November.This area of Zimbabwe is also known for abundant herds of Cape buffalo (although horn width is typically not exceptional) and magnificent sable that can range upwards of 40”.

This hunt will be conducted from a luxury lodge that features in-suite bathrooms and the facilities are designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  Your PH will be a highly experienced dangerous game PH that led many successful elephant expeditions in the past. This hunt for Elephant in Zimbabwe will be conducted on foot.  You will locate large bull elephant tracks and then follow them until you can catch up and can assess the ivory.

DEPOSIT POLICY

Trophy fee of $12,500 plus the 4% Tax on the Trophy Fee and fees for any additional animals taken as trophy or bait are due at the end of the hunt, or trophy fees plus tax may be deposited 30 days prior to the hunt.
