This is an incredible opportunity to hunt hippos in South Africa at a great price! This renowned Big 5 outfitter has put together a great package for the hunter who wants to hunt a trophy bull hippopotamus while you still can. With it being difficult to get trophies out of Mozambique, South Africa stopping the issuance of PAC hippo CITES export permits and the European Union tightening the issuance of newly required import permits, the places where you can hunt and import trophy hippos are disappearing rapidly.

 Hunters have enjoyed a 100% success rate on this hunt over the last several years.  This hunt will take place on a 10,000-acre government reserve that is in the Northwest Province an hourfrom Rustenberg. The nearest airport is Johannesburg

The concession has a large 1,000-acre lake that holds water year-round, which makes it a great place for hippos to reside. This is the perfect safari to hunt your trophy bull hippo and then spend a few days relaxing and hunting plains game from your luxury lodge.

This area is the perfect place to hunt hippos in South Africa. The lodge is very comfortable and is within a reasonable driving distance from the hunting area. All guest rooms feature en-suite toilets and showers. The lodge features both Wi-Fi and cell phone service. Trophy hippos are a realistic expectation for every hunter visiting this concession. Crocodiles can also be added to this hunt for a trophy fee but will be hunted on a different concession that features a large reservoir.

The Northwest rovince is known for its quality trophy plains game hunting and especially for its trophy Greater Southern Kudus.

After you take your hippo you can add a Cape buffalo bull for only $7,000 including 3 additional hunting days! The expected size range is a hard-bossed bull from 37-42".

DEPOSIT INSTRUCTIONS

The deposit to book this hunt is $3000 US.  The balance of the hippo package and trophy fees for any additional animals taken or wounded are due on the last day of the safari before departing camp.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Deposits are non-refundable. Safaris can be rescheduled once subject to the outfitter’s available openings.  Any safaris rescheduled to a subsequent year are subject to that year’s pricing. Rescheduled safaris are subject to a $150 administrative fee that is to be paid directly to the booking agent before the confirmation of rescheduled dates.
