This is a chance to take a trophy red lechwe and tsessebe in South Africa’s Northwest Province. Your hunt will occur on an 18,000-acre privately-owned hunting concession that features a 3-star lodge and many other species of animals. This is the best deal I know of in South Africa for these exotic antelopes.

The Red Lechwe and Tsessebee Hunting Area

This hunt will take place in the Northwest Province of South Africa approximately 2 hours west from Johannesburg near Rustenburg. The hunting area is 18,000 acres and has varied terrain, including mountains, thick bushveld and rolling rocky hills and plains. There are over 20 huntable species on this ranch and the game numbers are abundant.

The Red Lechwe and Tsessebe Hunts

Both animals will be hunted by driving and stopping to glass until a suitable trophy is spotted. Then a plan will be made and you will make a stalk on the animal to get into shooting range.  Once a decision is made as to trophy quality, the sticks will be set up and you will make your best shot.

Other plains game and Cape buffalo are available also.  The outfitter will switch animals in the package for equal or more expensive animals on a 1x1 basis.

Field care and trophy prep is included and once fleshed, your trophy will be put into the salt until your safari is over and a courier transports them to the Dip and pack/taxidermist.

The 3-Star Safari Lodge

You will stay at a 3-star lodge that features comfortable beds and bedding. Each room has an en-suite shower and bathroom. The camp features permanent electrical power. Cell Phone service is available at camp.  Wireless internet service is also available in camp. The lodge features a bar with beer, wine, and alcohol.

The camp has an excellent chef and kitchen staff and you will eat game that has been taken at the ranch during your stay.

Other Activities

Other activities for non-hunters such as trips to Pilanesburg National Parm Shopping, trips to Sun City, etc. are available.

Getting There

You will fly to Johannesburg South Africa where you will be met by the outfitter’s representative and driven the 2 hours to the lodge.

DEPOSIT POLICY:  A 30% deposit is required to book this hunt.  The balance of the package and any trophy fees for additional animals shot or wounded are due in US cash or credit card at the end of the hunt prior to departing camp.

REFUND POLICY:  Deposits are non-refundable.  Safaris may be rescheduled once subject to the outfitter's open dates as long as the outfitter is notified at least 60 days prior to the start of the safari.  Any rescheduled or canceled safaris are subject to a $150 administration fee to be paid directly to the agent. .Safaris that are rescheduled for a subsequent year are subject to that subsequent year’s pricing.  In the case of a terminal illness or death, a full refund will be made.
