THE BOW CULL HUNTING SAFARI AREAS
This is a great highly discounted bow cull hunting package hunt in South Africa’s Eastern Cape near Queenstown with a well-known outfitter! Your African archery cull hunt will take place on 55,000 acres (126 sq., miles) of prime hunting habitat that has over 10,000 animals on it. With South Africa having the greatest plains game populations on the African continent, you will be hard pressed to find a better place to hunt plains game than here. The diversity of animals here is simply amazing! Over 70 species of animals inhabit this game-rich concession. Many exotics have also been released, so in addition to common plains game and the resident herd of Cape buffalo, you might see species such as Scimitar oryx, Sambar Deer, Rusa Deer, Sable, Roan, Watusi and many others! There are even a few rhino roaming the concession.
The outfitter also has a second 4-star lodge just two hours away, where much of the Kudu, Impala and Warthog hunting will occur. If these animals are on your trophy list, you may relocate to an area 2 hours away that offers prime trophy hunting for these targeted species. This secondary area is over 600 sq. miles of hunting area!
ARCHERY CULL HUNTING METHODS
This safari will primarily be done while hunting from a blind that is strategically placed on one of the concession’s waterholes. You will hunt the eland, blue wildebeest and springbok on the main 55,000 acre concession. If you are adept at shooting at distances up to 50 yards, you may be able to spot and stalk some of your animals.
The second part of this hunting safari will take place 2 hours north of Queenstown. Here you will hunt your kudu, impala and warthog. You may end up sitting on a waterhole to take your warthog, as it is one of the most reliable methods when it is dry. The impala will most likely be hunted out of a blind, and your kudu will likely be taken from a blind while sitting over some oranges. Kudu love oranges and just can’t resist slipping in to munch on a few!
There are good populations of all of the species in the package, so the outfitter is confident that you will get a shot at all of the animals in this package.
Other cull animals are available per the cull price list.
This hunt is available from June – August.
