THE SABLE AND ROAN SAFARI AREA

The hunting location for this sable and roan hunt will take place in South Africa's Northwest Province. The hunting concession is about two hours from Johannesburg and is located near the town of Rustenburg. Your sable and roan hunting safari will occur on a privately owned 8,000-acre concession that also has over 130 sable bulls on it. The concession that you will hunt on is a mix of plains and bushveld. There are some big sable and roan on this concession. There are a lot of trophy animals here and you will experience a sable and roan hunt in South Africa that you will always remember!

Hunting methods for this Sable and Roan hunt in South Africa will consist of searching for game by vehicle and then by stalking on foot to get within shooting range of your targeted trophy. If you desire more of a traditional sable and roan hunting safari, the majority of the hunt can be conducted on foot. The terrain is very broken with lots of plains and bushveld. That makes this concession perfect for both the spot and stalk or walk and stalk hunting methods. Your PH will be a highly experienced hunter thwhos adept at helping you put your trophies in the salt

GETTING THERE

Most hunters will be picked up directly upon arrival at the Johannesburg Airport. It is only a 2-hour drive to the hunting lodge. You will get a good night's sleep and begin your hunt the next morning by sighting in your rifles in preparation for the hunt.

This outfitter has partnered with one of the best taxidermists in South Africa. They will also handle your dip and pack and shipping should you wish to ship your trophy to your taxidermist in the US.

DEPOSIT POLICY 

A $2,000 deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance of the package and any other charges incurred including trophy fees for animals taken or wounded that are not in the package is due at the end of the hunt in US cash or by Credit Card - (Visa and Mastercard only) 

Cancellation Policy:  Deposits are non-refundable but hunts can be extended in the same year or to subsequent years at the outfitter's discretion. Any increase in price or increase due to the exchange rate for hunts that are extended to subsequent years will be the client’s responsibility.  All rescheduled hunts are subject to a $150 administration fee, which will be collected by the booking agent before processing the change.
