The Suni, Red Duiker and Blue Duiker Hunting Area

This is a great value in a discounted suni, blue duiker, and red duiker hunt with a long-established outfitter near Durban in South Africa’s beautiful Zululand. This suni, blue duiker, and red duiker hunt in South Africa will take place on an 11,000-acre free-range privately owned concession. The hunting area consists of thick sand forests and coastal bushes. The terrain is quite flat but has thick bushes inside the forests. The Zululand sand and coastal forests can be somewhat dark inside and it can get quite humid. The large farm you will be hunting is home to lots of small antelope and you will see many other free-range animals while hunting here. 

The Suni, Blue Duiker and Red Duiker Hunting Methods

This is a unique hunt for three of the smallest African Antelopes. Due to the thickness of the coastal and sand forest, slowly walking and stalking to catch these animals feeding in the forests will be the method used to hunt the suni and red duiker. Some hunting from blinds may be done, and it is even possible to call these animals into range.

 You will be targeting and taking a mature trophy male antelope. They have strict criteria on the age of the animals that can be harvested, which is what has helped generate many trophy suni and duikers in this area.

Other tiny ten animals are also available should you take your targeted animals early in the hunt. You will also see many more animals while searching for your trophies and other animals are available per the price list:

The Small Antelope Hunting Lodge

You will stay at a 3-star lodge and dine on great meals. All of the rooms feature in-suite bathrooms and have queen-size beds with down duvets and comfy pillows. Both cell phone service and Internet service are available at the lodge. Between hunting sessions, you may retire to your luxury suite to relax and prepare for one of the meals that South Africa is famous for. South African red and white wines and cold beer will be served at meals and around the fire pit. It just doesn’t get any better than this!

DEPOSIT POLICY:  A deposit of $2,000 is due at the time of booking. The balance of the package plus trophy fees for any other animals shot or wounded is due at the end of the hunt in US cash or may be wired in advance.

REFUND POLICY:  Deposits will be refunded only if the client cancels the safari within 30 days of confirmation of booking, subject to a 15% administration fee and provided the cancellation is done at least 90 days before the date of commencement of the safari.  Safaris may be rescheduled at the discretion of the outfitter.
