Nyassa Wildebeest
The Selous is also home to the Nyasa Wildebeest, which sports a unique white chevron on its nose. Should you see one, I recommend that you add it to your collection, as this is the only place it is found.

Tented Hunting Camp
This hunt takes place from a well-appointed tented camp featuring comfortable beds and bedding. Each tent has its own toilet facilities. You will enjoy great meals and then retire to relax around the campfire while discussing the day’s events and planning for the next day’s hunt.
This is a great trip to take with your hunting buddy, as the hunting is something you will both talk about for years.
Your PH will be a highly experienced dangerous game hunter with over 15 years of dangerous game hunting experience. He is highly experienced in hunting Africa’s big game and you will be in competent hands for the duration of your hunt. Your tracker and skinner will be the best that Africa has to offer.
July through September are prime months for buffalo in the Selous! Early November can offer good hunting alos, but by mid-November the rains can make getting around quite difficult.

Deposit Policy: A $5,000 deposit is due to book the dates / hunt / quota. The balance ($11,500 US) is due 90 days before the start of the hunt.
Travel fees and trophy fees may be deposited with the outfitter 60 days in advance or the equivalent in cash should be brought to the camp.. Any excess of deposited funds will be promptly refunded.
Trophy fees for animals taken or wounded and any other charges incurred are due in cash at the end of the safari.
Cancellation Policy: Deposits are non-refundable. Other considerations may be made if a replacement hunter is found for the same dates.
