This is a trophy free-range tiny ten hunting safari in Namibia with a well-known outfitter! This renowned Namibian spot and stalk outfitter is located southwest of Windhoek in south Central Namibia. This free-range hunt will take place on 109,000 acres of game-filled habitat. The Damara Dik-Dik hunt will occur in the Otjiwarongo region of Namibia and will require driving to the Dik-Dik hunting area. With Namibia having some of the largest free-range hunting areas in southern Africa, this is a great opportunity to get that Damara dik-dik and the other members of Namibia’s tiny ten!
The Tiny Ten Hunting Safari Area
This discounted hunting safari package will primarily take place on 109,000 acres in the Khomas Highlands Region of Namibia. The area has no high fences and features wild animals that have adapted to the harsh Namibian environment. The permanent 4-star lodge is a 2-hour drive from Windhoek. The free-range terrain consists of a mix of mountains, bushveld, and savanna. There is a good population of small antelopes in the region. The Dik-Dik portion of the hunt will occur in the OtjwarongoMountains region of Namibia and will require driving and staying overnight in a nearby 4-Star lodge.
The Free-Range Tiny Ten Hunting Safari
The safari will be done both by driving until the game is spotted and then glassing to determine trophy suitability. Once appropriate trophies are located, you will proceed to stalk on foot until a suitable shot is provided. Hunting may occur by just slowly walking while looking for a trophy antelope. Many of these small antelopes are territorial, and if the outfitter has spotted a good male on previous safaris, this area will be a likely starting point for your search. You should be in average shape (2-3 on a 5 scale) to be successful on this hunt, as these antelopes will require some walking to find a suitable trophy.
The Central Namibia region offers true free-range hunting and produces exceptional trophy quality. There are also some big kudu and oryx in this region, in addition to Hartman’s mountain zebra. If you get your tiny ten antelopes in the salt quickly, you may have time to hunt for one of these trophies also.
This hunt is available from March 1 – November 30.
Other animals are available per the price sheet.
The 4-Star Tiny Ten Luxury Lodge
The majority of this hunt will be conducted from a 4-Star lodge set at the base of the mountains and featuring a great view. You will enjoy some of Namibia’s fine cuisine during your stay with this outfitter. The rooms feature en-suite bathrooms. The lodge has electrical power and hot showers. Mobile phone and internet service is available for those of you that want to stay in touch while on safari.
The outfitter has built a Bar-B-Que restaurant, a brewery, and a spa onsite. You will be able to enjoy these amenities while staying there.
DEPOSIT POLICY: The deposit to book this package hunt is $1500. The balance of the package is due at the end of the hunt. Any trophy fees for additional animals shot or wounded are due in US cash, bank pre-wire, or by personal check at the end of the hunt prior to departing camp.
CANCELATION POLICY: Deposits are non-refundable. Safaris may be rescheduled once at the discretion of the outfitter due to extenuating circumstances. Safaris that are rescheduled for a subsequent year are subject to that subsequent year’s pricing. Safaris that are rescheduled are subject to a $150 administrative fee. In the case of a terminal illness or death, a full refund will be made.
EXCLUSIONS: Dip & Pack, Airfare, Taxidermy, International Shipping of Trophies, Before or after Safari Accommodations, Gratuities, Rifle Rental, Ammunition

"This was our first time to Africa and it was incredible. We were able to harvest all the animals on our wish list and they were fantastic quality trophies. I would recommend this hunt as you are only about 2 hours from Johannesburg. Thanks to Discount African Hunts we connected with an awesome outfitter and took some great trophies!."
"I booked the hunt through John Martins, the owner of Discount African Hunts. It was a smooth transaction and he provided me with good and accurate information."
"This 10 day package safari was a fantastic experience. I learned many new hunting skills and made new friends. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat. I'm going back. That says it all. Thanks to Discount African Hunts for setting me up on a fantastic plains game safari."
"In August 2014 I took a lioness hunt with Discount African Hunts in the Northwest Province of South Africa. The PH's worked hard to customize the hunt for me as I wanted a challenging stalk ending with taking the lioness at close range by an open sighted double rifle. They exceeded my expectations as 12 miles of tracking ended with me shooting the highly agitated lioness at a distance of 25 yards with a couple of rounds of 450 NE".
"I highly recommend a lioness hunt with Discount African Hunts."
