Story
My very first trip to Africa. End of August. 10 Day hunt.
Killed 7 animals. The weather was really cold in the mornings up in the mountains of the Eastern Cape. I used a Matthews Triax with solid one-piece 100gr G5 broadheads and a custom-made Diamond series Longbow from 3Rivers Archery. Every hunt was Super exciting but if I had to pick one hunt I would have to say the shot I took over a Hippo and between a Cape Buffalo to hit a Waterbuck at 28 yards was my favorite.

This is not a Bowhunting ranch but I did get 7 animals and missed 3 shots at an Impala, Blue Wildebeest and a Nyala. I would recommend bringing 24 arrows :) A drought caused waterholes to be low but effective. Ground blinds are positioned at great locations.
Recommendation
The PH and the 3 trackers were great. He also had 2 tracking dogs that were very instrumental in finding my game.
Food was excellent, Chalets were really cool luxurious straw roof shacks. Hot water and everything. You could hear Lions roaring all night.
