Story

My 8th trip to Africa was a once in a life time experience. I needed a rhino to complete my Big 5 and did not believe it would be possible until I spoke with John and he recommended a 5-star outfitter up near the Botswana border. The lodge, PH and staff are all top tier. The rhino "green" hunt was even more exciting since you must be within 30 yards before you dart the rhino. My rhino has a 36.5' horn and it was an excellent stalk. My springbuck was free range on the Botswana/RSA border and topped 15.5 inches. A second great trophy. I had never hunted the tiny ten but took two nice trophies to begin my tiny ten collection. Overall an outstanding experience with excellent people who know how to hunt and were great guys to be with.

A green rhino hunt is even more challenging than a kill hunt given the closeness required. My rhino hunt is a memory for a lifetime
