Innoculation

  • Do I need a yellow fever inoculation for my hunting safari?

    Yellow fever inoculations are not required for travel to South Africa.  Yellow fever vaccinations are required by countries that have episodes of yellow fever and entry will likely be denied without proper proof on inoculations. The CDC advises being inoculated for yellow fever on a country by country basis.  See the link below to view CDC inoculation recommendations by country:

  • What inoculations are recommended for travel to Southern Africa?

    The CDC issues inoculation recommendations on a Country by Country Basis.  Visit the link below for country specific recommendations:

  • What inoculations do I need for a South African Hunting Safari?

    The CDC recommends the following inoculations for travel to South Africa: 

    • Tetanus or a Tetanus Booster within the last 10 years 

    • Typhoid 

    • Hepatitis A & B 

    • Rabies Vaccination – Recommended for those that work with animals (Rarely done by hunters traveling to South Africa) 

    • Malaria – Prophylactics recommended for certain areas
