The mighty Zambezi river also offers some great hunting for trophy crocodiles and hippos.

Zimbabwe is famous for its leopard hunting and is the only country in Africa where it is currently legal to hunt leopards with dogs.  Zimbabwe hunting also permits the use of artificial light while cat hunting, which increases leopard hunting odds significantly.  Good lion hunting exists today in Zimbabwe, but permits are limited and highly sought after.  Hippo and crocodile are also available as dangerous game and many of these hunts are done on the shores of Lake Kariba.  This variety and availability of dangerous game hunts in Zimbabwe makes this country one of the must hunt destinations in Africa, and a great place to take a dream dangerous game hunting safari in Zimbabwe.
